Spring Loaded Gate Casters

Gate casters counterbalance the load of a gate, allowing it to swing freely. They support a gate or door, preventing it from hanging, dragging, or ultimately being torn off the hinges. Compression springs allow the caster to traverse uneven surfaces without compromising the stability of the gate.

Our side-mounted gate spring loaded (GSL) casters can be paired with two of our caster series. With the 2003 Series you get a 1-1/4” tread width and diameters of 3”, 4” or 5”. The E6500 series offers a tread width of 2” with diameters of 4”, 5”, 6” and 8”.
The 2300 Series is available with a GSL11 spring. And the E6500 is available with either the GSL11 or GSL11A spring. The table below provides pre-load, maximum deflection and maximum capacity specs.
