 This heavy-duty caster is 5,000 lbs. better!  We’ve made our kingpinless, heavy-duty Monsoon™ caster even better by re-engineering it to include our proprietary TwinTrack™ head. With its double raceway design, the TwinTrack adds to the capacity, stability and durability of the Monsoon. The capacity of this hardworking heavyweight is now an impressive 15,000 lbs. That’s a 50% increase! The TwinTrack head features a 6” raceway with ¾” diameter steel balls on top of a 3-13/16″ raceway with ½” diameter balls. The top raceway absorbs the direct downward thrust while the bottom raceway absorbs the horizontal thrust. Together the two raceways act like a tapered bearing allowing more lateral movement and taking harsher loads. The Monsoon can be produced in 6”, 8” 10” and 12” diameters with tread widths of 3” and 4”. The legs are continuously welded for added strength. It comes with a standard corrosion-resistant bright zinc finish. Black and blue finishes are also available. This new and improved heavy duty caster comes with a range of brakes including the PolyCam brake and 4PSL. A tapered bearing is available on both swivel and rigid casters. Other options include spring-loaded and dual-wheel configurations.  The Monsoon is produced in our integrated manufacturing facility in Toronto.
